Gift to Mid-Continent |
| The Mid-Continent Railway Historical Society is dependent on many sources of income to restore, maintain, and operate its historical collection of railway equipment.
Please join the hundreds of donors who help keep the "Golden Age of Railroading" alive in Wisconsin every year. Gifts may be earmarked toward specific projects or areas, or may be directed to the General Fund (descriptions are below). All donations are tax deductible. Mid-Continent is a not-for-profit, educational organization, incorporated in the state of Wisconsin. We are tax exempt as defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. | Flood Relief Fund | 100% of these funds will be applied directly to costs of clean up and repairs--including supplies for volunteers and the restoration to operation of our operating equipment after the extensive flooding in June 2008 that closed our museum to the public. |

General Fund
|
General support ("wherever the need is greatest") funds help sustain the musem operation and provide support for critical needs as they arise. |

Steam Fund
|
Funds will be used for the restoration and renovation of steam locomotives. Current projects include the restoration of Western Coal & Coke #1, C&NW #1385, and Polson Logging #2. Plans call for restoring these locomotives back to operating service. To read more about current work on our steam locomotives, click here. |
